Stewart grilled Cramer
A year or so ago I found out that I had some random knowledge on USA political's inner comings and goings. Not and actual degree on the issue, but at least I was able to name most of the main players in the, then, oncoming elections and follow the news my newspapers published on the issue.
I have Jon Stewart to thank for that.
Actually, I have Stephen Colbert and his 2006 speech in the correspondents dinner in the White House.
But even though I love The Colbert Report, I have to say I get my daily highs with Stewart's Daily Show.
And last weeks high was, without a doubt, Mr. Stewart grilling Jim Cramer.
Las monday's show had a clip with Jon Stewart making a gibe at CNBC for their unaccurate coverage of the economy the months previous to the actual crisis.
Mr. Cramer took it personal, probably because Stewart chose a clip with some financial advise where Mr Cramer appeared putting his foot so deep in it his leg had gone through right to the other side. The man answered with some comments, Stewart took the glove and slapped Cramer senseless with it. Cramer objected, Stewart made a joke out of it and, finally, the financial adviser went to The Daily Show for an interview, bravely trying to give his side of the issue.
Unfortunately, his side was a crappy one and you really shouldn't go to the Dragon's lair unprepared.
I'm not sure why he went. I dont know if the people in the show told him they were going to play nice - somehow I doubt it - or if he really thought his case was sound and he would really be able to defence himself.
The fact is that he went and Stewart roasted his ass.
Here are the links to the previous clips building up to thursday's interview:

Longer post for news
Pueeeees... ya he comprado los muebles!!
*aplausos*
